Pre-event Promotion for the Golden Indie Music Awards Ceremony!
The 2024 Asia Rolling Music Festival will feature a three-day celebration, including a pre-festival celebration and the Golden Indie Music Awards Best Live Performance Award Finals! This event will showcase a diverse lineup of artists, featuring past Golden Indie Music Awards nominees and winners alongside emerging Asian music stars from Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand, South Korea, and more. Artists from around the world will come together to celebrate their musical journeys and give a "shout out" to their inspirations. Join us in supporting the music artists we all love and admire!

Ham Tanid
Ham Tanid is a guitarist, composer, and sound engineer whose practice centers on improvisation and blending genres like jazz, punk, and experimental music. He primarily uses acoustic instruments to maintain organic sounds while pushing musical boundaries in a contemporary context with live looping and computer music. His notable projects include the award-winning album "RhizomE x Ju Ju" with visual artist Lolay, which earned him the "Best Asian Creative Artist" at GIMA 2023. Ham's approach to improvisation is deeply tied to mindfulness, reflecting his cultural and environmental concerns, which arise from a profound reconnection with his roots.
The Chairs
Formed by Jing, Zhong and Benson, The Chairs is one of the most critically acclaimed bands in Taiwan. With a bit romantic, acid, retro and a bit naughty music, The Chairs received the Best Vocal Collaboration Award from the 30th Golden Melody Award, which is one of the most prestigious, significant awards in Taiwan. Influenced by sixties and seventies psychedelic music, The Chairs writes sunny, cheery sounding tracks that flit between somber love poems and joyful, laid-back summer anthems. In July 2022, The Chairs released their new album “Shangri-La is Calling” and started a tour over 20 cities. This year, with an extension of the tour around the world, Shangri-La will calling from the US, Japan, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and more…
Haezee
The Urban Soul Serenade
With her deep, distinctive voice and heartfelt songwriting skills, Haezee made waves with her debut album [Love Maze]. It caught the attention of the Mandarin music scene, earning her a nomination for Best New Artist at the 33rd Golden Melody Awards. Fans have embraced her as a soulful force in the industry.
Chunyan
Chunyan gained unexpected fame after being defeated twice in the 2013 Taiwanese rap battle competition "DISS:RBL" quickly amassing a large following on social media. As a member of the rap duo "YEEMAO," he was nominated for the Golden Melody Awards and won the Best Album award at the Golden Indie Music Awards with the album "OwO." In 2020, he released his solo album "Thanks<3," which won the Best Hip-Hop Album award at the Golden Indie Music Awards the following year.

SAX MACHINE
Sunset Music's newest electronic band excels in creating rhythm-driven house music, with the saxophone as their signature instrument, shaping their unique "sax machine" style. The lively saxophone melodies seamlessly blend with the intense beats of house music, giving each track the energetic feel of a dance anthem while maintaining the spontaneity of a live performance. Their music effortlessly invites listeners to move with the rhythm, as if transported to a high-energy party, immersed in the dynamic fusion of beats and saxophone.
SOPHY
A Hong-Kong born multi-disciplinary singer-songwriter.
With a unique style fusing Pop, Electronica and Soul R&B music, SOPHY opened for Moonchild (US), Rhodes (UK) and indie electronic music label Dark Paradise (TW); nominated multiple times at Golden Indie Awards (TW); performed at Clockenflap (HK), Asia Music Keep Rolling Festival (TW), Zandari Festa (KR) et. SOPHY released her latest album《FLUID》as the executive producer last year. The 12-tracks project fuses Cantonese, Mandarin and English seamlessly and consists of a wide range of genres like Alternative, Electronic/Dance, Soul R&B and Synth Pop etc, forming her singular artistry as she continues to create one of the eclectic sounds in Pop Music.

Mong Tong
Mong Tong is a Taiwanese psychedelic music band formed by brothers Hom Yu and Jiun Chi. The name "Mong Tong" is derived from the brothers' childhood nickname, which can mean something totally different in different languages from Burmese, Cantonese to Chinese.
Mong Tong's music is heavily influenced by Southeast Asian culture, including its mythology and folklore, as well as 60s and 70s psychedelic music. Their sound is characterized by hypnotic rhythms, dreamy melodies, and otherworldly atmospheres.
FORD TRIO
Like every music student, ‘Ford Trio’ aims to create their music by interpreting their expressions through new dimensions of sounds since 2018. From the love of John Mayer, Stevie Wonder, Thai soul-pop, and groovy tunes, the band started to fuse their musical background with other genres they’ve discovered during their journey from university to the very first days of performing in front of the public.
